There was a security advisory recently that affects all of our systems. This means that we must update to the latest version of FreeBSD and reboot each server. We'll be doing this throughout the day which will result in 10 minutes or so of downtime for each machine.
Impact: For ten minutes your site will not be available or you may not be able to send/receive email. Email will not be lost as we'll queue it on our secondary server but there will be a slight delay.
I apologize for the brief notice. This is a recent occurrence but it should be handled quickly to avoid larger issues in the future.
Thanks,
-tom

We're seeing significant packet loss across our entire network which is causing web sites to take extraordinarily long to load for customers. It will also cause email retrieval and FTP to be extremely slow.
We're working with our network provider to resolve the situation and will post when things are back in shape. UPDATE: The situation has been resolved. There was a Denial of Service attack occurring before our network which caused significant packet loss. It has been handled further upstream and appears to no longer be affecting us. Thanks! -tom |
